Walking towards the summit of the Rock,  you can see organic shapes and beautiful subtle colours. 

The Australian Short Beaked Echidna is a gorgeous timid little creature, a mammal that lays eggs.. They have strong front legs and claws to dig for ants and termites.  The female  deposits  the egg in her pouch.  The young are called puggles.

In Springtime, the rock is a major attraction for birdwatchers and wildflower enthusiasts.  It also has a rich Aboriginal history as a special site for men.

A storm sweeps over the flat farm  lands  east of Boyagin Rock.

A beautiful deep pink eucalyptus, growing into a very large somewhat straggly  bush.  It has the largest of all the eucalyptus flowers.
